(ASE:AGH) today announced that Paul Rudovsky will retire from his position as Executive Vice President – Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer effective September 1, 2000 in order to pursue charitable interests. Mr. Rudovsky has been very active in the affairs of his alma mater, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, serving MIT in a number of capacities, including trustee. Mr. Rudovsky will also resign as a director of Atlantis Plastics, Inc. effective September 1, 2000. Should Atlantis require his services after his retirement, Mr. Rudovsky has agreed to serve as a consultant to the Company. Atlantis has engaged an executive search firm to assist in finding a replacement for Mr. Rudovsky. It is expected the search will produce a replacement CFO before the end of August.
