INJECTION MOLDING

Atlantis produces thermoplastic injection molded components for manufacturers of major household appliances, automotive parts, power tools, agricultural implements, hardware and consumer goods. Among the unit’s largest customers are Whirlpool, Maytag, Clopay, Delphi, TRW-OSS and Breed Technologies.

The Atlantis Plastic Injection molding Division, founded almost 50 years ago, operates over 200 presses in sizes ranging from 44 to 1000 tons in six facilities in the Midwest and South Central States. Atlantis has molding experience in a wide variety of thermoplastics, including many engineering materials and also specialized in secondary operations that include hot stamping and assembly.  The division has achieved “dock to stock” certification with many of its key customers and has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the “Whirlpool Breakthrough Quality Award”.

Atlantis Plastics utilizes the “Program Management” concept, focusing on the quality of each process necessary to take a project from design to delivery.
